Kaspersky Opens Antivirus Source Code for Independent Review to Rebuild Trust

Kaspersky, an antivirus firm from Russia, which the US government has been suspicious that the firm has ties with Russian Intelligence agencies and are currently hacking into the US government. Less than two month ago, the US government banned and removed all of Kaspersky software from government computers after the company offered to turn over their source code to the US government. 

According to Kaspersky Lab, they claim "We have nothing to hide". Kaspersky have not came out with an initiative called the "comprehensive transparency initiative", which allows independent third-party review of it's source code and internal processes. This is a way for Kaspersky to show it's customers that they have done nothing wrong and to gain some trust back.
